A structure for a spider of a drum type washing machine is provided to prevent separation of a jig fastening groove and to prevent an internal of the jig fastening groove from being oxidized by forming a strength reinforcing unit in the jig fastening groove. A structure for a spider of a drum type washing machine comprises a jig fastening groove(111), a drum shaft fastening unit(110), a plurality of drum fastening units(130) on which a drawing groove(131) is formed, a joining unit(150), and a first strength reinforcing unit(300). The first strength reinforcing unit is formed in the drawing groove to reinforce strength of each drum fastening unit. The first strength reinforce unit is at least one projected rib. The projected rib is projected from one of each internal drawing groove.
