EL DEVICE AND KEY PAD USING THE SAME

An EL(Electro Luminescence) device and an EL key pad using the same are provided to reduce the thickness of the whole key pad by forming a plurality of keys on one surface of a transparent insulating substrate. An EL device includes an insulating substrate, a printing layer(110), a transparent electrode layer(120), a light emitting layer(121), an insulating layer(122), and a rear electrode layer(123). The printing layer is formed on the insulating substrate, and has a transmitting area and a non-transmitting area. The transparent electrode layer is formed on the upper part of the printing layer. The light emitting layer, the insulating layer, and the rear electrode layer are sequentially formed on the transparent electrode layer.
