PAINT COMPOSITIONS INCLUDING NEPHRITE

A paint composition containing nephrite is provided to minimize the releasing of harmful volatile organic compounds and formaldehyde, thereby reducing sick house syndrome. A paint composition comprises 28-32 wt% of water; 17-22 wt% of nephrite; 0.2-0.4 wt% of a hydroxyethyl cellulose thickener; 0.05-0.1 wt% of a pH controller; 0.7-1.3 wt% of a dispersant; 0.3-0.5 wt% of an emulsifier; 0.4-0.6 wt% of an antifoaming agent; 17-23 wt% of titanium dioxide(TiO2); 3-7 wt% of kaolin clay; 2-6 wt% of calcium carbonate; 0.7-1.3 wt% of a urethane thickener; 15-20 wt% of an emulsion resin; and 0.1-0.3 wt% of a preservative, wherein the urethane thickener comprises 19-21 wt% of a polyurethane resin and 79-81 wt% of water.
