An endoscope with a use state checking device is provided to allow a user or a subject to know whether the endoscope is already used or not by coating the exterior of the endoscope with a test member which responds to body fluid. An endoscope with a use state checking device includes an inserting unit(110), an operating unit(120), and a universal cord(130). The inserting unit is freely curved to be inserted into internal organs, and is detached from the operating unit through a connecting unit. The universal cord is extended from the operating unit to be connected to an endoscope controlling unit(200). The inserting unit has a front end unit(112), a curved unit(114), and a flexible unit(116). A test member which responds to body liquid is coated at the exterior surface of the front end. The test member is made of litmus test liquid or paper.
