[PROBLEMS] To provide a turntable formable in both automatic and manual types and comprising a sliding mechanism in the automatic type. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In this turntable, a first rotary disk (10) is supported on a flat base plate (4) rotatably around a rotating shaft (8). The first rotary disk (10) comprises, at its outer peripheral part, a spur gear (30) to which a drive force for rotating the first rotary disk around the rotating shaft (8) is transmitted. The first rotary disk (10) comprises, on its upper surface, first mounting parts (40a) and (40b) for mounting it on a TV receiver. A second rotary disk (42) is detachably mounted on the first rotary disk (10). This mounting is performed so that, when a force exceeding a prescribed level is applied to the second rotary disk, the second rotary disk can be slipped off the first rotary disk (10) around the rotating shaft (8). The second rotary disk (42) comprises, on its upper surface, a second mounting part (54) for mounting it on the TV receiver.
