MANUFACTURING METHOD OF POROUS TITANIUM DIOXIDE USING CYCLODEXTRIN

A method for preparing porous titanium dioxide using cyclodextrin is provided to produce titanium dioxide having a uniform pore size and a large specific surface area, facilitate the control of pore size, and be a simple process without requiring a separate sintering process. A method for preparing porous titanium dioxide using cyclodextrin includes the steps of: (S1) preparing a cyclodextrin or cyclodextrin derivative, and a titanium precursor; and (S2) reacting the cyclodextrin or cyclodextrin derivative with the titanium precursor in an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid. The step(S2) is carried out in the presence of a reaction inhibitor for controlling a polymerization rate of the titanium precursor. A molar ratio of the cyclodextrin to the titanium precursor is 1:0.5-1:12.
