An automatic optical inspection system is provided to prevent a distortion phenomenon due to bending, deflection, and prolongation with respect to a photographing area of an inspected object. An automatic optical inspection system is designed to optically inspect a printed circuit board. The system includes a photographing unit(122), an illumination unit(124), and a support unit(130). The photographing unit photographs the printed circuit board. The illumination unit illuminates light the photographing region of the printed circuit board. The support unit supports the photographing region of the printed circuit board. The support unit includes a transmission section through which the light of the illumination unit is transmitted. The transmission section of the support unit has a roller with an interior space. The illumination unit is installed in the interior of the transmission section.
