<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device that can be properly operated by suppressing generated heat. <P>SOLUTION: In a digital camera 10, an unillustrated temperature monitoring function part of a signal processing part 20 determines whether a measured temperature supplied from a temperature sensor 38 is higher than a predetermined temperature, a system control part 24 generates control signals 88 and 86 for controlling phase control of a timing signal generator 28 and driving suppressed by a driving current control part 26, and eliminates timing deviation involved in the driving suppressed by the driving current control part 26 by the phase control of the timing signal generator 28 to properly perform an operation, and the driving current control part 26 suppresses a driving current amount of a driving signal outputted by a driver 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
