<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic imaging apparatus for the circulatory organ suppressing the X-ray exposure dose to a subject as much as possible and precisely acquiring the position of a sensor section of an IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) probe. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with an IVUS image formation section 24, an insertion length detecting section 25 detecting the insertion length of the IVUS probe, an X-ray image storage region 17 storing the X-ray image of a region of interest including a vascular image, an image display control section 41 displaying the X-ray image read from the X-ray image storage region and the IVUS image side by side on a display screen, a blood vessel extraction section 42 extracting shape information of the vascular image by an image processing, a reference point information storage section 43 storing coordinates of two reference points specified by a pointing device and the insertion length when specifying them associated with each other, a probe position calculation section 44 calculating the position of the sensor part based on the shape information of the vascular image and the storage information, and a position marker display section 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
