<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorated ceramic article improved in color development, and inkjet ink for the article. <P>SOLUTION: The decorated ceramic article includes a glaze layer having a pictural pattern glazed with red and/or yellow pigments formed on the surface of a ceramic substrate. The composition of the glaze is 60-70 mol% of SiO<SB>2</SB>, 4-11 mol% of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0.1-10 mol% of TiO<SB>2</SB>, 4-10 mol% of K<SB>2</SB>O, 0.5-5 mol% of Na<SB>2</SB>O, 0-0.5 mol% of Li<SB>2</SB>O, 0-7 mol% of B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 4-10 mol% of CaO, 0-6 mol% of BaO, 0-5 mol% of ZnO, 0-2 mol% of MgO, 0-1 mol% of SrO, 0-0.6 mol% of MnO<SB>3</SB>, 0-6 mol% of ZrO<SB>2</SB>, and 0-0.15 mol% of Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>.
