PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating motor whose weight can be enlarged in a centrifugal direction while being stabilized on a wiring board. SOLUTION: In the vibrating motor 1 which comprises: a cylindrical case 2; a shaft 7 protruding from the front end of the case 2; the weight 8 which is eccentrically fixed to the end of the shaft; and a metallic holder 3 which surrounds the case 2, and in which the holder 3 is surface-mounted to the wiring board PWB by reflow soldering, the holder 3 has a flat bottom 17 formed on the wiring board PWB, a pair of front-fall prevention parts 17b, 17c which extend to a position facing the weight 8 are formed on the bottom 17, a notch 17d is formed between the front-fall prevention parts 17b, 17c on a central line C2 extending along the bottom, and the notch 17d extends across the position facing the weight 8 from front ends of the front-fall prevention parts 17b, 17c.
