PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recorder capable of recording an analog sound signal in a particular language desired by a user, and information recording controller. SOLUTION: The information recorder is provided with: a CPU 201 for executing a decoder 15 and an acquisition control program 2931 for acquiring digital video data in a digital broadcast signal from the digital broadcast signal and acquiring digital sound data in a particular language specified by the user's operation of an operating part 19 in digital sound data in a plurality of languages in the digital broadcast signal; a D/A converting part 16 for converting the acquired digital video data into an analog video signal and converting the acquired digital sound signal in the particular language into an analog sound signal in the particular language; and the CPU 201 executing the D/A converting part 16 and an output control program 2032 for outputting the converted analog video signal and analog sound signal in the particular language to a VCR device 3.
