PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide A-B side recording/reproducing devices using sheet optical disks, and an automatic disk changer using the A-B side recording/reproducing devices and having no disk inversion mechanism. SOLUTION: This device includes a cartridge 23 for housing a plurality of sheet optical disks 5 of double-sided recording/reproducing in a tray 1, an A side recording/reproducing device provided with a moving base 28 of an A side recording/reproducing part 25 arranged in the upper side of a tray pull-out mechanism 35, and a moving base 29 of a cap 36 having a float stabilizing disk 32 arranged in the lower side, and a B side recording/reproducing device provided with a moving base 48 of a B side recording/reproducing part 55 arranged in the lower side of a tray pull-out mechanism 55, and a moving base 49 of a cap 56 having a float stabilizing disk 52 in the upper side. Thus, as the sheet optical disks 5 of double-sided recording/reproducing are alternately fed from the cartridge 23 to the A-B side recording/reproducing devices, continuous and parallel recording/reproducing is achieved.
