PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair method and a repair material effective in the repair method for easily and inexpensively repairing an embossed layer exposed and discolored due to the damage of the surface of elastic pavement with at least an elastic layer, the embossed layer and a topcoat layer laminated on a base. SOLUTION: The repair material for the embossed layer of the elastic pavement contains 1-20 wt.% of an organic isocyanate compound, preferably crude MDI, and oil soluble dye in an organic solvent, and the repair method for the elastic pavement surface is characterized by applying the repair material to the embossed layer exposed to the surface of an elastic pavement layer and discolored.
