PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically movable household altar allowing an elderly person, a person with disability, or the like to do maintenance of a household altar safely and easily. SOLUTION: A vertically movable household altar has a household altar integrated with a miniature shrine and a shelf board, and a lifting means which vertically moves the household altar, and the household altar and the lifting means are fixed.
