A method, device and system for channel configuration are disclosed, in which the method comprises: receiving the call type information transmitted by the equipment in connected mode; and configuring the channels in network side according to the call type information. Another method comprises: the equipment in connected mode transmits the call type information to the network side; the equipment configures its channels according to the received corresponding channel configuration information fed back by the network side. A further method comprises: the equipment in connected mode transmits the call type information to the network side; the network side feeds back the corresponding channel configuration information to the equipment according to the call type information; and the equipment configures the channels according to the channel configuration information. Correspondingly, the corresponding device and system are provided, so as to solve the delay problem when equipments initiate CS domain calls in the prior art.
