A method for protecting an article using an anti-icing film, a coated article and a coated blade are provided to obtain desired anti-icing properties and prevent life span from being shortened in long-time use. A method for protecting an article using an anti-icing film comprising a step of coating an anti-icing composition including at least one no-additive polysiloxane on at least one surface of the article(12). The anti-icing composition is cured to form the anti-icing film having an ice shear strength of about 19kPa to 50kPa(14). A primer film is coated on said at least one surface before the anti-icing composition is coated. The primer film comprises a primer composition and catalyst. The catalyst comprises one selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium and rhodium. In the step of curing the anti-icing composition, the anti-icing composition is heated at a temperature of about 25°C to 149°C for about 30minutes to 135minutes.
