<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver install method, a program and an information processor for reducing an amount of printer driver files to be installed and effectively utilizing a memory area of a host computer. <P>SOLUTION: When installing printer driver files which are divided into shared files, files for a detail mode and an easy mode, and files by models, one of the detail mode, the easy mode and a perfect mode is selected, the model of the printer is selected, the file to be installed in the perfect mode is set, the files not selected to be installed in response to the selected mode and the model are compressed, and compressed files and not-compressed files are made to be installed to execute the install of the files to be installed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
