PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect connection contacts by a simple structure and allow easy connection with the contacts of a camera body. SOLUTION: The lens unit 4 can be freely attached to or detached from the body mount part 11 of the camera body 3. The lens unit 4 has Bayonet pawls 9a and 9b and a protective cover 10. The protective cover 10 is freely rotated between the position where the contacts of the Bayonet pawls 9a and 9b are covered and the position where the contacts are exposed. By inserting the Bayonet pawls 9a and 9b of the lens unit 4 into the corresponding Bayonet pawls 12a and 12b of the body mount part 11 formed on the camera body 3, the protective cover 10 engages with the inside of the camera body 3. By rotating the lens unit 4 while this engaging state of the protective cover 10 is retained, the protective cover 10 moves to the opened position, so that the contacts are exposed and connected with the contact of the camera body 3.
