PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic finder that enables a user to understand the principle of triangulation, and is a teaching material for measuring the distance to an object or the distance between two objects by using a technique based on the principle, and has a new scale that differs from the previous one although a stereoscopic finder, capable of measuring the distance to the object by using an opaque material having a scale and a transparent plate. SOLUTION: The stereoscopic finder comprises a first member and a second plane member that are two opaque plane members, and a support member for connecting them. Marks 1, 3 for indicating a position are provided at two points, separated by prescribed distance at the upper edge of the first member. A mark 2 for indicating a point position is provided at a position, where a line extended in the vertical direction with respect to the surface of the second plane member from the mark 1 in the first member crosses, at the upper edge of the second plane member. A one-dimensional scale is provided, in a direction in parallel with a line for connecting the mark 1 to the mark 3, and an angle scale with the point position mark 2 provided in the second plane member as the center is provided.
