PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a length adjusting mechanism of a hanger bolt capable of easily tightening and loosening a nut screwed with the hanger bolt. SOLUTION: This length adjusting mechanism 10 of a hanger bolt comprises a connection member 11 having two through-holes disposed parallel with each other, two hanger bolts 12, 13 inserted into these through-holes from the directions opposite to each other, and a total of four nuts 14a, 14b, 15a, 15b screwed with the hanging bolts 12, 13 projecting from both ends of the through-holes. As tool engagement parts, a total of two pairs of flat surface parts 11c, 11c, 11d, 11d parallel with each other on both sides of the axes of the through-holes, respectively, are formed on the outer periphery of the connection member 11. Strap parts 12c, 13c each having screw holes 12b, 13b for locking the strap parts to the other member are formed at each base end of the hanger bolts 12, 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
