<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast recording apparatus for more efficiently recording broadcasting of a music exclusive channel. <P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast recording apparatus is provided with: an entry section 7 for designating a music program recording mode; a detection means (a CPU 9 and a detection program 11B) for detecting a silence part of video audio data when the entry section 7 designates a music program recording mode; an acquisition means (the CPU 9 and an acquisition program 11C) for acquiring one or more frames of still picture data from video data of the silence part of the detected video audio data; a storage control means (the CPU 9 and a storage control program 11D) for storing the acquired still picture data and audio data between the silence part of the video audio data and a succeeding silence part to an HDD 6 in cross reference with each other; and a reproduction control means (CPU 9 and a reproduction control program 11E) for allowing a display apparatus to display an image on the basis of the still picture data stored in the HDD 6 in the case of reproducing the audio data stored in the HDD 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
