<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying an anti-cancer agent and an anti-cancer agent based on the identification of in vivo molecule promoting the proliferation of cancer cells, and further to provide a method for diagnosing lymphatic leukemia and malignant lymphoma. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for identifying an inhibitor of cell growth using inhibition of ubiquitin-specific protease 20 (USP20) as an index.
