PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control device and a modification method for an elevator control device capable of reducing possibility that ride comfort becomes worse by inertia force by a more simple constitution.

SOLUTION: A traveling route of a car 6 has an inclination angle relative to a vertical direction. A memory means 13 memorizes the inclination angle. A correction part 14b corrects traveling pattern information of the car 6 such that time variation of acceleration of the car 6 is reduced as the inclination angle is increased according to the inclination angle stored in the memory means 13.
