PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera shake detector, a camera shake detection method, and a camera shake detection program which suppress the amount of deviation of a subject image, which occurs in a photographic images due to a detection sensor, and suppress the reduction in lifetime of a battery. SOLUTION: The camera shake detector has a detection sensor 200a for detecting the speed of rotation about one prescribed axis, of a camera and includes: a first image deviation amount calculation part 200b, which drives the detection sensor 200a to detect the rotation speed and calculates the amount of image deviation in a first direction, on the basis of the rotation speed with respect to an image of a subject photographed by the camera; a second image deviation amount calculation part 200c, which calculates the amount of image deviation in a second direction, with respect to the image of the subject photographed by the camera, on the basis of a prescribed image analysis result about the image of the subject photographed by the camera; a camera shape amount estimation part 200e, which uses the amount of image deviation in the first direction and that in the second direction to estimate the amount of camera shake.
