<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stream rate converter for transferring time information even when a transmission path is limited in transcode processing. <P>SOLUTION: The stream rate converter includes: an MPEG-TS decoder 2 including a pixel replacing device 8 for replacing a pixel at a particular position of a digital image with a time stamp by using a conversion table configured to convert the pixel at the particular position into a value usable for a pixel value in advance, when extracting a video stream from an MPEG-TS, decoding the video stream and outputting a digital image; and an MPEG-TS encoder 13 which includes a pixel restoration device 16 for acquiring the time stamp replaced with a digital image by using the conversion table from a received digital image and obtaining the pixel replaced with the time stamp stored in a particular packet obtained from the MPEG-TS and which multiplexes an encoded digital image on the MPEG-TS while synchronizing them by using the time stamp and outputs the result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
