PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed controller for unmanned vehicle which can stabilize the travel speed of an unmanned vehicle even in case that the voltage of a battery changes though it is of simple constitution not having a speed feedback function. SOLUTION: The reference value V0 of battery voltage is downloaded to a controller 2 in advance. When the detected value V1 of the battery voltage can be obtained by a battery voltage detecting circuit 5, the controller 2 calculates corrected duty ratio R1=R0×V0/V1, using the reference value V0 of the battery voltage and the set value R0 of the duty ratio geared to the set speed stored in advance, and drives a chopper circuit 3 with this duty ratio R1. Consequently, the power from the battery 1 is supplied intermittently via a chopper circuit 3, thus a travel motor 4 is driven, thereby travelling the unmanned vehicle. Even if the detected value V1 of the battery voltage changes from the reference value V0 of the battery voltage, the travel motor 4 always keeps its constant rotational speed.
