PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire log data from an electronic apparatus and even from a remote place. SOLUTION: A log acquisition environment using, for example, a Web page is provided for a terminal device connected through a network. A macrofile sent from a terminal device is received through the log acquisition environment (S1) and processing based upon the received macrofile is performed to input and store log information on an operating task (S2) to (S10). Then the stored log information is transmitted to the terminal device side (S13) to (S15) on receiving a log acquisition request sent from the terminal device through the log acquisition environment.
