PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a wheelchair user to perform operation for self-checkout without largely changing a posture of sitting back in a wheelchair. SOLUTION: A reference position Ymax is set as the farthest position operable by a virtual wheelchair user assumed as a wheelchair user in the posture of sitting back in the wheelchair out of the operating positions of a user interface such as a merchandise code reading part disposed in a position operably by the wheelchair user while facing the front face of a housing 202, and a housing front space enough to prevent the virtual wheelchair user from failing to reach the reference position Ymax is prepared.
