PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receptacle removing noise by using a ceramic member, which can prevent the cracks or the breakage of the ceramic member. SOLUTION: A metallic receptacle case having a flange on its back is force-fitted on the front half outer circumferential part of a cylindrical ceramic sleeve, and a metallic fiber stopper having a flange on its back is force-fitted to the rear half inner circumferential part of the sleeve. Despite that the ceramic sleeve receives force both from inner and outer directions, the sleeve is not broken because the inner and outer parts which receive force do not overlap.
