PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid upsizing or increase in the number of components in a membrane-fitted hollow electrode combined with a membrane such as an ion exchange membrane for solving various problems such as the reduction of a paint resin with the progress of electrodeposition coating treatment, the remelting of a coating membrane and the generation of pinholes caused by the increase in the concentration of an electrolyte as the result. SOLUTION: With an electrode body 10 formed so as to be a hollow shape by an electrically conductive material, and composed in such a manner that a liquid can freely pass through a space between the inside and the outside thereof as a support, a membrane 20 such as an ion exchange membrane is fitted to the outer face of the electrode body 10.
