PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a glutathione production promoting component and provide a skin care preparation compounded with the component. SOLUTION:γ-Tocopherol andδ-tocopherol have glutathione production promoting action and the action is remarkable compared withα-tocopherol having highest physiological activity. Accordingly, a useful skin care preparation imparted with excellent effects of glutathione such as antioxidation effect and cell activation effect can be produced by compounding the glutathione production promoting agent.
