PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform doffing treatment at sufficient working efficiency by traveling/moving a doffing machine without waste even when requirement of doffing treatment is made from two units existed in a mutual interference position in an automatic winder device. SOLUTION: Traveling of both doffing machines 4a, 4b is controlled making two elements of progress situation of full bobbin package preparation of the units 2, 2 and a distance from the present positions of the respective doffing machines 4a, 4b to the units 2, 2 as determination reference. Thereby, even when treatment requirement for doffing is advanced from the two units 2, 2 existed at the mutual interference position, since a preferential lank of the doffing treatment of the doffing machines 4a, 4b relative to the units 2, 2 is previously determined and both doffing machines 4a, 4b can be traveled/moved with a constant distance, inconvenience that the doffing machines 4a, 4b wastefully travel such that the doffing machines 4a, 4b stop/reversal travel after the doffing machines 4a, 4b approach to the other doffing machines 4a, 4b can be certainly eliminated.
