A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REALIZING THE QUALITY OF SERVICE NEGOTIATION MECHANISM

A system for realizing QoS negotiation mechanism includes: an application layer function AF unit, which receives the service request information, implements the QoS authorization to the requested service, and sends the authorized default QoS information and the authorized lower quality QoS information; a bearer resource request processing entity, which receives the authorized default QoS information and the authorized lower quality QoS information sent by AF unit, and establishes the bearer resource with the said authorized lower quality QoS information when the authorized default QoS could not meet the requirement of establishing the bearer resource. A method for realizing QoS negotiation mechanism and the entity thereof are also provided in the invention. With the implementation of the system and method disclosed by this invention, the possibility of establishing the service requested by the user within a quality range accepted by both the user and the network could be increased.
