<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction elevator capable of improving design effect around a landing place doorway. <P>SOLUTION: This traction elevator is provided with a car 1 moving along car guide rails 8a, 8b, a counterweight 2 moving along counterweight guide rails 9a, 9b, one set of hoisting ropes 3 suspending the car 1 and the counterweight 2, a hoisting rope 3 arranged above the counterweight guide rails 9a, 9b between the car 1 and a wall of an elevator shaft, and a driving machine device 6 including a traction sheave 7 engaging with it and arranged in an upper part of the elevator shaft. A controller 20 for driving the driving machine device 6 is arranged in the vicinity of the driving machine device 6, and an ordering device 21 for giving orders to the controller 20 is arranged in the vicinity of the landing place doorway in the uppermost part or below the uppermost part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
