<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-acid storage battery with excellent initial performance and life characteristics by having 4BS mainly produced on the surface of an electrode plate, and, in case paste paper is bonded on the surface of an electrode plate, to provide an electrode plate free from paper peel-off at a stack at assembly by enhancing adhesive force of an active material with the paste paper. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the electrode plate, in which a paste-like active material, after it is filled in a lead-alloy substrate with lead as a main component, is put under an aging process, the aging is to be performed after tetrabasic lead sulfate is made adhered on the surface of the electrode plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
