<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of controlling the color development density of toner, in an image forming apparatus, using the toner which can be allowed to develop different colors upon exposure to light rays of different wavelengths. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 10, light quantity by a light source 53 of a color development information imparting device 28 and the exposure energy of light, emitted from a light source 15 of an exposure device, can be controlled so that even if the wavelength of the light emitted from the light source 53 to impart color development information will be identical to the target wavelength, the same density as the density of toner after color development, on exposure to light of the target wavelength is achieved; accordingly even if the wavelength of light emitted from the light source 53 deviates from the target wavelength, toner can be allowed to develop colors to the same density as the color development density upon exposure to the light of the target wavelength, whereby the toner density after color development can be controlled readily. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
