PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality control method for a liquid for supporting analysis in an autoanalyzer and the autoanalyzer, capable of determining the exact quality of the analysis support liquid for supporting the analysis in the autoanalyzer, after supplied to the autoanalyzer, and capable of accurately maintaining the analysis properly. SOLUTION: The analysis supporting liquid for supporting the analysis of a sample is dispensed into a reactor by a sample dispensing means for dispensing the sample, a reagent dispensing means for dispensing a reagent, a cleaning means for cleaning the reactor or a dilution liquid dispensing means for dispensing a dilution liquid; a liquid in the reactor containing the dispensed analysis support liquid is measured optically (step S1) to generate an analytical data of the analysis support liquid, by using a measured result (step S2); and the analytical data generated is compared with reference data, to determine the quality of the analysis support liquid (step S3).
