PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyhalogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment composition having more superior chroma and a wide color reproduction range, and to provide a color filter capable of achieving a more ideal RGB color reproduction range having high color purity, and containing the pigment composition in a green pixel part. SOLUTION: The polyhalogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment composition provides a dried coated film in which the pigment composition is dispersed so as to have 30.3% concentration in a transparent resin, and which has≤10% light transmittance at 725 nm wave length in a visual light region in a spectral transmission spectrum obtained based on JIS Z 8722.
