PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming unit and an image forming system, capable of performing multiple image printing (printing multiple pages on a single sheet) in PC printout, even when a printer driver is incompatible with the multiple image printing. SOLUTION: When print data are received from a client PC, if an multiple image flag is ON (YES in S302), multiple image processing is executed to the image data of a plurality of manuscripts so as to perform multiple image printing of the manuscript images read by a scanner, and the multiple image processing is executed on the image data obtained by expanding to PDL the print data received from the client PC (S304), using an multiple image processing circuit for generating multiple image data from the image data of the plurality of manuscripts, so as to generate the multiple image data (S305), and the generated multiple image data are processed for printing (S306).
