PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server type broadcasting receiving and recording apparatus capable of searching desired program contents with a high efficiency even when enormous numbers of program contents are stored in a video recording apparatus such as a HDD recorder and presenting the program components with a similar ECG even when another video recording apparatus is used, and to provide a server type broadcasting system. SOLUTION: The server type broadcasting receiving and recording apparatus allows a program provider to transmit a promotion content (second program content) for introducing matters of a plurality of program contents (first program contents) and present the matters of the program contents at the same time.
