PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an oscillation frequency of an oscillation circuit to become a target frequency at a high speed. SOLUTION: An oscillation control apparatus controls the oscillation frequency of the oscillation circuit to be the target frequency. The apparatus is provided with a variable range divider for dividing a variable range of a control signal for increasing or decreasing the oscillation frequency of the oscillation circuit into a plurality portions as a value increases or decreases; and a determining section for determining a portion including a control signal where the oscillation frequency becomes the target frequency, by outputting a control signal of a boundary of each of the portions divided by the variable range divider to acquire the oscillation frequency of the oscillation circuit. The variable range divider repeatedly executes division of the variable range using a portion to be determined by the determining section as the variable range until the oscillation frequency of the oscillation circuit becomes the target frequency.
