PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to effectively remove foreign substances which adhere near an imaging element. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with an imaging element 5 which performs photoelectric conversion of a photographed object image focused by an imaging optical system; an optical element 11 which is arranged in a nearer side than the imaging element 5 to an photographing object, is a plate like optical element consisting of a transparent material, and is arranged by curving, so that it becomes convex toward the imaging element to a flat plane which intersects perpendicularly with an optical axis 51 of the imaging optical system; and vibration excitation devices 10a, 10b which vibrate the optical element 11.
