PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize software/hardware(SW/HW) division corresponding to an application to be realized on a system-on-a-chip(SoC). SOLUTION: This SW/HW division evaluation program makes a computer execute a procedure for compiling a source code where a mark is attached to a section to be executed by hardware, and for generating an execution program for simulator of a CPU on an SoC; a procedure for storing the execution result of the execution program in a memory; and a procedure for evaluating SW/HW division according to the execution result.
