PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and image processing method for achieving high-speed color converting process. SOLUTION: Color conversion result obtained in the past with a color converting processor 2 is stored in a color conversion result storing unit 3 corresponding to pixel values before color conversion. A color conversion control unit 1 outputs a color conversion result in the case where the color conversion result corresponding to pixel value within the range of threshold value from the pixel value of an input image is stored in the color conversion result storing unit 3. If not stored, color conversion result is outputted through color conversion of pixel value of image with the color conversion processor 2 and the color conversion result is stored in the color conversion result storing unit 3 corresponding to the pixel value of image before conversion. Application rate of the color conversion result stored in the color conversion result storing unit 3 increases and thereby high-speed color conversion process can be obtained.
