PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage regulator, capable of accurately performing a test while minimizing the test expense. SOLUTION: The voltage regulator 10 for controlling current carried to PMOS transistors 13_1, 13_2 to 13_n of a current supply circuit 13 by a controller 14 so as to maintain a predetermined output voltage V<SB>OUT</SB>comprises comparators 15 and 16 for determining whether the output voltage V<SB>OUT</SB>of a voltage output terminal 12 is within a predetermined voltage range or not; and determination result output terminals 19 and 20 for outputting determination results by the comparators 15 and 16.
