PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connection apparatus capable of further reliably preventing contamination and damage of a body to be inspected due to interferences between the body to be inspected and an external part of a contact region collectively provided with contacts of a probe sheet body. SOLUTION: The electrical connection apparatus includes a block elastically supported at a rigid wiring board via a spring member and a probe sheet comprising both the probe sheet body provided with a plurality of electrically-conducting paths each electrically connected to a plurality of wiring paths of the rigid wiring board and a plurality of contacts electrically connected to each corresponding electrically-conducting path and protruding from the contact region in one surface of the probe sheet body. A part in the other surface of the probe sheet body corresponding to the contact region is supported at a flat supporting surface of the block. The block has a tapered surface in its circumferential surface, and a stepped section is formed between the tapered surface and the flat supporting surface.
