PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridging top board which enables a pin to be accurately spanned even if lengths from a pinhole on the side of the bridging top board to the nearest hole part on the side of a workbench are somewhat different from one another in the bridging top board and the workbench for use. SOLUTION: This bridging top board K, which is bridged between the gable-side ends or girder-side ends of a plurality of workbenches S, comprises a top board body 5, and gable-side end fittings 6 which are attached to both the gable-side ends of the top board body 5, respectively. A slot 11 is formed in the upper board part 6a of each of the gable-side end fittings 6. A vertical shank 12a of a bridging-top-board connecting pin 12, which comprises the vertical shank 12a, a horizontal shank 12b, and a locking shank 12c which is protruded downward from each of leading ends of them so as to be capable of being locked to a hole part A or B on the side of the workbench, is inserted through the slot 11. The vertical shank 12a is constantly urged downward by means of a spring 13, so that the horizontal shank 12b can be attracted to the side of the top surface of the upper board part 6a of the gable-side end fitting 6.
