PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding window capable of preventing rainwater from intruding into an indoor side from between an indoor side meeting stile and an outdoor side meeting stile. SOLUTION: This sliding window 1 is provided with the indoor side meeting stile 9 and the outdoor side meeting stile 7. The meeting stile 9 on one side among the indoor side meeting stile 9 and the outdoor side meeting stile 7 has a tight member 11 and a water draining-off member 13 in the longitudinal direction, and the tight member 11 and the water draining-off member 13 are arranged by facing internal air and external air, respectively. The meeting stile 7 on the other side has a channel 15 in an opposing part of the water draining-off member 13, which is provided by protruding toward the meeting stile 7 on the other side. Its tip 13a is positioned in the channel 15 of the meeting stile on the other side. A tip of the tight member 11 is abutted on the meeting stile on the other side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
