PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a septic tank capable of reducing the labor and time for fitting a control member to a partition wall. SOLUTION: The septic tank is characterized in that the control member 14 for controlling the fluidized state of the water to be treated is fit to the partition wall 5 for dividing the inside of a tank main body. A through-hole 34 is arranged on at least one of the control member and the partition wall. An engaging member 35 is inserted into the through-hole to engage the control member and the partition wall with each other and fit the control member to the partition wall.
